I am sometimes asked to lead, or contribute to, weddings, civil partnerships and naming ceremonies. Whilst my qualification and specialism is in delivering meaningful, moving and memorable funeral ceremonies, I am happy to serve in these other capacities if required – as outlined in some of my recommendations.
Here in the UK, only religious leaders and qualified registrars are legally permitted to marry couples. Once that has been concluded, invariably at a Registry Office, I am able to conduct personal ceremonies, usually with a focus on the couple’s story. Whether you are looking for a formal, traditional style wedding service or a reimagining to bring your love for each other to life in the most expressive and immersive way possible, I am happy to help.
Unlike funerals and weddings, there are no qualifications or regulations governing naming ceremonies, so I am as qualified as anyone to create and lead your non-religious or semi-religious naming ceremony. This is a wonderful way for parents and friends to demonstrate their love for their children and for family and friends to welcome them into their lives if they have no commitment to any faith.
